Southern Distilling Company is a great place to visit! Friendly staff. I got there when they opened & got a personal tour do to I was the first visitor there. LOL. Patrick and Macy gave me a very informative tour. They are very knowledgeable & very friendly! Patrick walked me through all the samples I tried. I will say the Southern Star Double shot & Double Rye we’re my favorite! Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the young lady who greeted me and helped me pick out items to share with family and friend. She was very friendly & helpful. The owners should be proud of what they accomplished! Great product! Excellent staff! Whether your visiting the area or need to take a break from driving, stop in and visit Southern Distilling Company! You will not be disappointed!

Southern Distilling is located in Statesville, NC. It's a quick trick off the highway and well worth the trip. The distillery has its own bar, a tour and tastings at the end of the tour. Southern bottles under its own label and provides bourbon and other distilled products to bottlers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in the Charlotte, NC you will find Southern to be a jewel of the area, merging regional tradition with modern day quality control and excellence. I look forward to going back soon!

Excellent! Went on the behind the scene whiskey tour and tasting. Joe was our guide and he was great! Very knowledgeable. Love how the company tries to have as little waste as possible (leftover corn, wheat and rye mash is used to feed farm animals, some old barrels turned into furniture). And 50% of the sale of their Southern Star double rye whiskey goes to Purple Heart homes for veterans. Awesome! Got to the distillery off exit #54 on I-77. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Seriously this place was breathtaking how awesome it was!! So dam classy and some of the absolute best rye whiskey!! The family close knit feel they welcome you with is what really really hit home for me. They let you try everything before you buy it or even if you just wanna try them!! I loved the farm vibe it goes so darn well with their brand!! Southern Distillery!! Super southern super friendly the front and back staff both welcoming you like your their family! Great tastes great whiskey and a true rustic upper class feel all around you guys get my 5 stars and I truly truly hope to see you all grow. From OHIO!! All the bests!! And thank you again for such a great experience at your facility!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️😜🦌

Had a great time here. We did not do the tour but did do a sampling of the different bourbons and whiskeys, very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Great tour experience for just $15! Even if you are not into whiskey the tour is interesting and well worth it - once the tour is over you have the opportunity to sample Southern’s entire line up of locally made whiskeys. You can also purchase cocktails separate from the tour and hangout at their bar.
